New in 2021-2!
We are transitioning from Henderson Bay High School to Henderson Academies. I work with Henderson Bay Academy. Sister academies include Henderson Bridge and Global Virtual Learning Academy. Classes I teach include the following:

Architectural & Interior Design
This is a class where we work with Sketchup to create 3D models of many things architectural. We have access to a 3D Printer to translate drawings into actual models.
Journalism - Online
This is a work in progress. We publish a print paper and maintain a fresh  online magazine-- HENDERSON GRAND PRESS documenting what happens at the Academies at Henderson.  We Publish every three weeks. Go to

Photography

Digital Photography is a semester introduction to the digital camera/cell phone as an art-making tool designed for students at the beginning level.   Students create their own blog sites as a place to exhibit their projects and portfolio work.  We also explore compositing and image manipulation with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.

          So what does a Myers-Briggs Personality Test mean when applied to me?

 I test out consistently to be INTJ which translates: I am introverted.

That doesn't mean I'm totally shy.... it does mean I need private time to draw energy from my thoughts.
 I tend to focus, to sweat the details, and I am an idea person....I translate concepts to give them clarity and a foundation;
I transform them to  concrete, I root them in the practical. Although perfectionism bites me I am able to see beyond what is ideal, to what is necessary to get the job done... to bring a project to closure.

These are skills, developed as a design-build contractor,  that come to focus each day in the classroom.
