Autobiography is a common part of Big Picture Learning. As we reflect on our past we gain experience writing, assessing our strengths, and get a better focus on preparing for our future. This is also our way of developing writing skills.

  • Due each Wednesday by Noon
You are expected to keep a log of current events. The black "Current Events Log" button takes you to a simple log form and the second page links you to a variety of news sites so you don't have to go far to find news of interest. You are certainly free to suggest or go to other news sites. Maybe we can have a top of the week interest sharing at the end of each week.

STUDENTS WILL BE SHOWN HOW TO ACCESS THE PIERCE COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM BY GETTING A CARD AND HAVING ACCESS TO BOOKS AS BOOKS AS WEL AS IN ELECTRONIC READER FORM.
  • Reflection, report or project on all works read.
  • Four minimum books or advisor approved compilation of articles.
  • Whole group study of book or article.

Project options below:
  • Could do a standard book review form.
  • Conduct an interview with a character or author
  • Create storyboard of plot in five scenes
  • Write a letter to a character or to the author.​
  • Create a scrapbook of momentos for a character in the book.
  • Create a movie soundtrack: What music would you use where and why?
