Matching Skills to Future Economy

Starting
 your Web
Page

Think about what you love to do and how to communicate your interests and skills to someone  considering you for a job or  scholarship support.

You automatically have a Home Page. The home page could include your picture, a brief history, what's happening in your life right now like a job or some volunteer work or your participation in a club or a skill like writing music. You could include photos that relate to these activities. Or you could write about your personality type. That is where you start.

Then you can have some sub pages. These are pages that are like the second tier of an outline. For example you could have a Current Interests page. Sub pages could be: Photography and Art.

An outline might look like this:
  • Home Page
  • Skills
  • Current Interests
  •     Photography
  •          Gallery page of best photos
  •     Art
  •          Gallery page with photos of your art
  • Professional
  •    Resume with contacts deleted

To include your parent work history as a prezi

1. Drag in the  "Embed Code </>"  Template.
2. Then go to Prezi.com, select your project, and click on
embed to copy the html code to the clipboard.
3. Click on the "Embed Code" item on your page and paste
    the contents of the clipboard.
4. A prezi needs some width to work in so you might place it
in a wider section of the page.

Getting
        Website
Photos

Initially you might pull some images in off the web, but many of those photos are copyrighted. I would suggest you work with photos you actually have rights to...like the ones you shoot personally. Then you have no issues. Or on weebly when you go to insert a picture, select search. It will give you access to first a pay, then a free library of photos you can use.
Consider how much you want to reveal about yourself on your website. For example, I would never link a photo to a student name. I would never give my birthdate.
