Famous Directors
Best 30 Directors

I.  Find a favorite film director. You might choose a movie you like and research the director who made it.   Or you might look at some of the names in the links above. Or you could conduct a Google search.

II.  Once you have identified your Favorite Director  see if you can find some types of shots or scenes that begin to define his/her style. Do some searching and reading to discover how other people identify  their style. Ultimately try to find a scene posted on youtube that capsulates that style. To seach youtube, first go to www.youtube.com. Use their search box and search the film name.

III.  Then put yourself in front of a camera and describe who the director is, name some of the films he/she has directed and how you would describe/define their style. This can be an interview of you or you can use yourself as a big voiceover and bring in video or photos to be the video portion of your "Favorite Director"  video.
