You will have two days to clean up your website. Re-organize what you have to make it more readable. Get rid of things you didn’t put there in the beginning that are pointless filler and delete pages you don’t need. Then create and populate a portfolio page to show your best work. Best Work is not restricted to this class so you can feature projects from other classes. You can copy from your google drive, do screen shots (Shift-Command-4) to get pictures or utilize you phone and email. A portfolio page often has a brief statement of the author expressing their life philosophy or career goal. In sum, your pages must have a good look with plenty of photos with text to guide and inform.

Home Town B&B Assignment
We will be creating a brochure to advertise your B&B (Bed and Breakfast). Pretend you have converted your home to a B&B to bring in extra income. The only restriction is that it needs to be in the community you identify with. First, you need a dominant image to create the feel you want to communicate. Then you will need to add photos of people engaged in activities that could occur in the area. We will use this as a poster and the title graphic of a brochure we will build. |

In class we have a heat press for creating transfers on shirts. To make a transfer you need a cotton tee shirt. They cost $3.99 at Michaels and I have bought good ones from Goodwill for less. They need to be cotton to work.
