The Main Gym InterviewOverview: On Interview Day guest interviewers from our community will be interviewing you in either the Main Gym. When it is time for your interview you will go to the table where the interview is happening.
You will greet the interviewer (dressed appropriately for an interview) with a firm handshake. You will hand the interviewer a folder containing your employment package which includes your resume, a letter of application and copies of your reference letters or a list of references. You will then get a chance to answer questions and develop your story about why you are a good candidate for being hired. The interviewer will ask fairly standard interview questions and you will have the opportunity to explain your transferable skills and demonstrate how your experience, interests and soft skills build your value as an employee. A common question they may ask at the end, "Do you have any questions for me?" You should be ready for that one. At the end of the interview you will thank your interviewer for the experience you have just gone through. After the interview your interviewer will review your employment package and score your interview using the following rubric. |
