Photoshop Assignment 3: Four tasks to complete
Photoshop Task 1: Open the Scoreboard photo. Crop down to the edges of the scoreboard. Make a copy of the locked background layer so you can edit. Then straighten the image so the edges are square using the edit-transform-skew (turn on transform controls). Then, using the clone tool change the score to 28 to something other than 13. Go to layers and flatten the image. Save file and put the jpg on your website in Assignment 3.
Photoshop Task 2: Open bulldog11 image. Make a duplicate layer. Then make a duplicate layer of the duplicate. Desaturate the top layer to make the image void or almost void of color. Then erase the center of the top image to reveal the colored dog underneath. Flatten the layers. Save the file as a jpg file and place on your website under assignment 3. Photoshop Task 3: Open bulldog11 image. Make a duplicate layer. Then, using the adjustment tools above "layers" on the right side select the "hue/saturation" icon. Be sure to select "colorized". Move the slide bars to get a new color. Press Command and "i" at the same time to create a mask. Using a brush you can now change the color of the blanket. Repaint the blanket to a new color. Flatten the image, save as a jpg file and put on your website under assignment 3. Photoshop Task 4: Open the HBHS photo. Create a duplicate layer. Our task here is to clean up the photo. There is a reflection, destroying part of the image. We want to straighten the photo if necessary and get rid of the distracting reflection, or at least, minimize it. I will show you how to do this with healing brush and the clone tool. When you finish, flatten the image, save as a .jpg file and put on your website under assignment 3. |
