I was born not far from here (downtown Tacoma) in 1943. 73 years later Beth and I are walking downtown Tacoma close to and around the University of Washington Campus. This is a fascinating place due to the re-development and re-imagining of this part of Tacoma. Thirty years ago I was driving my contractor truck through this area picking up hardware and building materials. I spent many hours in the old train station. And businesses then were complaining about the homeless who were harassing their customers. The area is now saturated with places to eat, some boutique shops and condos with gates that house old guys about my age. The sun was very bright and I shot not knowing if the exposure was going to work or not. We saw plenty of Security and witnessed only one homeless looking fellow on a bench enjoying the view in a deserted side park.
Samsung 5s Photos |
Cat kicked my Iphone into the toilet so I replaced it with a water resistant Samsung phone. These are all photos taken with that phone. Pics at bottom were shot on another day at the LeMay Car Museum a mile away.
